Kelan uses his bachelor’s degree in Business & Finance and decades of real-life experience to help our readers make extra money, start a side hustle, invest, create passive income, and many other personal finance topics. Kelan was born to be a personal finance nerd helping others WIN with their money!

Brittany Kline is a co-founder of The Savvy Couple. Named as a savvy personal finance and money-saving expert by Forbes, Romper and many others. Brittany shares her expertise and experience in budgeting, saving money, frugal living, making money online, work from home jobs, side hustles, and more. Brittany loves using her master’s degree in teaching to educate and help our readers control their finances and reach financial freedom.
Becky Neubauer, Operations Manager
Becky LOVES creating systems and workflows that keep things running smoothly for the entire Savvy Couple team. She is responsible for overseeing team members, reviewing content, reviewing monthly financials, overall strategy & planning, increasing traffic, increasing revenue, and increasing impact The Savvy Couple has around the world.
Becky is also a personal finance nerd who uses her experience paying off massive student loan debt and saving for retirement by the age of 26 to write actionable finance content to help others reach debt freedom and create the lifestyle of their dreams. She has been featured on or written for sites like Money, Finanace Buzz, and LendEDU.
When Becky graduated from college, she had six figures of student loan debt. Four years later, she paid off the bulk of her student debt, saved six figures, and quit her day job to start TwentyFree. She documents her experiments with alternative living, including traveling in a van for a year and starting a homestead, on her website Lifepothesis. When she isn’t writing about money, she is doing yoga, reading, and hiking in the great outdoors.
Sarah Silkey, Chief Editor

Sarah graduated magna cum laude from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Psychology, with concentrations in human resources, social media management, cognitive development, and social processes.
Most people find it hard to adjust to a life of bills and budgeting, and Sarah is no stranger to that struggle. College students certainly need to master personal financing and being frugal, and Sarah aided others in doing just that. She tutored students in multiple subjects including financial management, accounting and writing. She used the years of tutoring experience in her job with RIT as the Behind the Bricks Social Media Community Manager. As team manager, Sarah spent her days writing about college life, including living as a broke college student and how to survive cheap eats and microwave cooking.
